Creatures that Comfort
Providing parents and caregivers a resource to create loving routines that deepen the bond with their little one while teaching valuable life skills.
UNICORN REALLY IS MAGICAL, I swear. Indie has developed a strong negative feeling about being in her car seat and running errands with me lately. I put her unicorn in the car seat with her and she slept THE ENTIRE TIME. I’m convinced the Slumberkins team are sprinkling sleepy dust or something on the unicorns.
Sawyer has had such bad anxiety over the past few months so I was really excited when I heard about about Slumberkins - they have a different animal for all kinds of things that a kid may go through. The Alpaca, who we have named Alfie, is to help kids with their worries.
I finally gave my 7 week old his Slumber sloth tonight not expecting him to do anything and he snuggled It so tight and fell asleep! we love Slumberkins!
I am a mental health therapist and worked in school-based therapy before my maternity leave. It is absolutely gut wrenching the amount of children that do not feel comfortable expressing emotions or even know how to describe how they feel. Stress can do a number on a child and life only gets more stressful. We have to reach these kids now!
