The Hartley Collection

I am safe. I am loved. Even if we are far apart, I’ll keep you with me, held here in my heart.

Send snuggles to the little ones in your life. Hartley reminds children that you are always in their heart.

Beginning May 1, 2018, a portion of all Hartley Bundle proceeds will go to the Alliance of Moms, whose mission it is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to teens in foster care. Hartley is a special limited-edition Slumberkin whose Sleepytime Rhyme was written specifically for children in blended families, in foster care, or who have been adopted.

Over 40% of girls in foster care will become pregnant by the age of 17, and those babies are 66% more likely to become teen mothers themselves. Together, we can break this intergenerational cycle. Co-founders Kelly Oriard and Callie Christensen have personal ties to the foster care program. Callie’s own parents fostered children when she was a child and Kelly’s father was a foster child himself, so supporting these families is near to their hearts.

Hartley’s interactive routine promotes: Family Attachments, Family Transitions, Self-Esteem, Acceptance

Show little ones that families are connected by the love they feel in their hearts with their best friend, Hartley.

1. Interact:

Snuggle up with your little one; a simple act that is endlessly important. Attachment bonds are built through physical touch, eye contact, and playful interactions.

2. Connect:

Use the power of your bond and positive affirmations to solidify your child's learning. Read each line of the affirmation and if they are able, have them repeat each line after you.

3. Reflect:

Practice the concepts, positive skills, and learning that are instilled in Slumberkins' books in your everyday life. Use the situations in the book, calming techniques, and Slumberkins' storylines when talking to your child about their experiences.
