Are Slumberkins safe for infants?

We are big believers in promoting safe sleep, and in sticking with the rules of creating a safe sleep space. For that reason, it's key to remember that if your baby is under a year old, you should avoid putting any item in the crib that may be a SIDS risk while unattended. Not sure if a particular toy is safe for your baby? We always recommend checking with your baby's healthcare provider. 

We intentionally designed our Slumberkins without any small, detachable plastic pieces. Due to length of fur, our ultra plush fabric products are not suitable for infants or any children under 3 years of age.

All of Slumberkins are safety tested and ASTM certified at the highest level, which is paramount in this product category of children's toys.

Our Slumberkins are made of the softest silken fabric. Slumberkins are 100% polyester and stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill.

    Perfect for small routines!

    We really love this visual schedule. My kiddo uses a much larger/longer version at school. So I was thrilled to see Slumberkins create a smaller, household friendly (neutral colors) version! The only downside to this is the lack of duplicates and missing some general routines. It includes "wake up" but not "go to sleep". Brush teeth is only included once, so we use it on the nighttime side. "Play time" would be nice to have a duplicate as well. There are blank cards- but they are not reusable once you write on them, and the picture is blank. I hope Slumberkins will release a "home routines" variation like they have for educators. We need more cards, or even a customizable card option. The cards are kind of thin (paper made- think card stock thickness) and will bend as your child removes them from the board. We absolutely LOVE this schedule and will continue to use it until we have to somehow make new cards. Slumberkins- please tweak this design to be more rugged and add more tasks/routines!

    Great Find!

    My child immediately caught on to the visual schedule and loves to add activities on their own. I only wish there was more than 6 Velcro slots as we've been short by one at least.

    Life saver!

    I can’t even count how many times I repeat these words to my children every morning before school. This sweet sign is the perfect non-verbal reminder of those important lessons. It’s a gentle way to keep the message alive throughout the day, and I absolutely love it. What a wonderful addition to our home!

    ABSOLUTELY LOVE & MY KIDDO IS OBSESSED
