We are big believers in promoting safe sleep, and in sticking with the rules of creating a safe sleep space. For that reason, it's key to remember that if your baby is under a year old, you should avoid putting any item in the crib that may be a SIDS risk while unattended. We intentionally designed our Slumberkins without any small, detachable plastic pieces. Due to length of fur, our ultra plush fabric products are not suitable for infants or any children under 3 years of age.
All of Slumberkins are safety tested and ASTM certified at the highest level, which is paramount in this product category of children's toys.

Our Slumberkins are made of the softest silken fabric. Slumberkins are 100% polyester and stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill.

We find that the preference for “body type” on our product varies by family. For some, they may start with a “Snuggler” – the flat lovey-style creature – for infants and babies before eventually graduating to a “Kin.” Kin’s are more of a traditional stuff animal body style with feet.
Slumberkins can be fun for all ages! The best time to introduce a Slumberkins creature is as a baby shower gift. Reading, talking, and singing to infants has proven beneficial to growth and development. If you’re new to Slumberkins, we find that the sweet spot of our age range is 0-4 years old, but reading-aged kids continue to benefit from the lessons and stories as they grow. Finally, research shows that the inner voice is set for kids by the age of 7! This means that instilling a positive self-talk track is critical during their early development.
As with any product intended for your child we suggest Slumberkins should be washed prior to giving them to your little one. Machine wash using cold water and lay flat to dry. Wash as needed. DO NOT use fabric softener or dryer sheets or dry on high heat, as it can damage the fabric and cause extreme matting. DO NOT allow the Ultra Plush Slumberkins to become matted. Wash item and gently brush out fabric to remove knots or discard. As with any plush, minky material product, the original softness will change over time with washing.

We happily ship worldwide. As many orders shipped internationally are subject to taxes, brokerage fees, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country, all of Slumberkin's international orders are shipped Deliver Duties Paid (DDP) and is not the responsibility of the customer. Due to shipping carrier constraints we are not currently able to ship any orders, but not limited to Belarus, Russia or Ukraine. Please check with your local postal service to see if your area is affected.
Returns will be accepted on items in unused condition with all original tags and packaging still intact, and the request is within 7 calendar days of delivery of your item. To easily initiate the return process, please click Start a Return. Requests initiated after 7 calendar days of delivery will not be accepted. Please feel free to contact Customer Service for assistance if needed. We offer free return shipping on all orders within the United States. International, FPO, and APO orders do not receive free return shipping. From the time your package arrives at our facility, it may take up to 7-10 business days for your return to be processed.
