    Absolute must have for kiddos!

We love this kin and use the stories in our daily routines when we need some extra help if littles get mad. We love instilling in them emotional intelligence from a young age!

Hammerhead was a wonderful intro. I don’t know who loves it more, me (parent) or my son.

    Mad is NOT bad!

We gifted a hammerhead to my 4y/o nephew who has a hard time getting angry when he doesn’t win a game or it doesn’t go how he wants. Hammerhead helped us explain that we know he is having big feelings and they’re okay, but there are ways to work through those feelings of anger.

    Sharky

This was the first slumberkins I purchased for my then 3 year old who had a lot of big feelings. She took to it right away and it became her "sharky". We have read the book many many times.

Hammerhead is perfect for managing your own mad and understanding others'

Whether you have a child who feels mad, or have a child exposed to other kids with big feelings, you're going to deal with MAD. Other adults may show that mad is a negative emotion, but Hammerhead explains that mad isn't bad. Mad's a sign that something is wrong, and it's a clue that helps you figure out what's wrong. If you're mad - are you hungry? Tired? Worried? Sad? Mad isn't just mad. It can also help with empathy in situations where your child is on the receiving end of the mad. Hammerhead is a soft stuffed animal that's the perfect size to carry or hug when your feelings are a little overwhelming, and Hammy's lesson is important even for adults. We've noticed a huge difference in how we address our mad feelings since Hammerhead became part of our life, and we hope that if you're struggling with these feelings, you'll give him a try.
